Fearless Philly Photo Fatherhood Friday

Back from a vacation visiting family near Philadelphia, I am so glad to be part of DAD-BLOGS Fatherhood Friday, yet again.

Bella had a GREAT time with family. She was thrilled to play with her cousins, Rachel, Mathew and Brandon. Alas, we were still not able to visit her BFF Sophia in New Jersey, but we have hope it will happen someday :-)

The highlight of our trip, was visiting Sesame Place. I am certain I had more fun that anyone else. But, as you can see from the pics, Bella had a pretty darn good time as well. She is FEARLESS...asking to ride the roller coaster the moment we entered the gates. her first time on one and we had a BLAST! I must say, this was no little kiddies coaster...this thing was tall...fast...and SUPER FUN! I have it on video, may post later.

Also, to address concerns, on a previous post. We are pretty good parents, we know when to limit our child's viewing of anything questionable. Therefore, for anyone concerned, Bella loves The Rocky Horror Picture Show, EDITED VERSION ;-) She adores the costumes, the music and the dancing....

The photo of her in front of the Sesame Place entrance is ADORABLE!

It's so much fun when the kids start to want to go on the roller coasters! Unfortunately with us, there was only about a ten-year window before they were all about the HUGE coasters and I was not about them anymore at all. :)

very cute pics. i am not a roller coaster person at all, but my kids love them. we just went to six flags discovery kingdom on mother's day. so busy. hated it.

i'm sorry some people questioned your parenting skills. people should realize that you know what you're doing and worry about themselves.

What a great place!! Sesame Place, I've never heard of that. Connor would LOVE IT!! Roller coasters are the best especially with the little ones. I had more fun riding the coasters with Riley than I ever had.

The picture in front of the park in just adorable!!

Your daughter is an absolute cutie pie! I love these photos of her. I'm so glad all of you had a great time! Your daughter is also courageous! Roller coasters? Kiddie ones, yes. Big, huge, twisty, turny ones, um, no, for me anyway.

Looks like an awesome time. We are about 2 hrs from Sesame Place and need to get their soon. Haven't been since my son was 3 or 4.

Happy FF!

We took our son to Disney a few years ago and had to drag him on half of the rides kicking and screaming before he realized they were actually fun. After that it was all gravy :D

when Sebastian was little his favorite flick was Young Frankenstein. It was a kick hearing him quote, "Roll, roll, roll in the hay." I can almost hear your daughter sing about her pelvic thrust.

ahhhh Sesame place. My oldest had a freak out when Ernie snuck up behind her at lunch. God, their heads are so much bigger in person. It's creepy. Good to have you back buddy.

Sesame Place is awesome! We were so excited to have our daughter just we could have an excuse to go back there - my wife and I haven't been there since we were kids. Hopefully we'll get there soon and have as much fun as it looks look you guys did.

Awwww, what a great trip. I went to Sesame place in the first grade on a school field trip. It was before the roller coaster, but was a bunch of fun anyway.

I used to get comments all the time on the songs I taught my daughter. The first song she sang was "Whats new pussy cat" at 2 1/2. I thought anyone could teach their children twinkle twinkle or I'm a little tea pot....She sang What's new pussy cat with such intensity that after hearing it a time or two, people thought it rocked! Way to go Bella!
